Since launching RTC Coffee, Calvin has remained deeply involved in traveling the world, fostering relationships with coffee producers, and expanding the company’s mission to support education in coffee-growing communities.

On the Ground, Around the World
In recent years, Calvin’s work has taken him across continents, visiting coffee farms and working directly with producers to ensure that RTC Coffee maintains its commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability. From the mountains of Colombia to the remote regions of Cambodia, Calvin is hands-on when it comes to building partnerships. His passion for connecting with the communities where RTC Coffee sources its beans has been integral to strengthening these direct trade relationships.

Whether it’s sharing meals with coffee farmers or visiting schools in coffee-growing regions, Calvin believes in the power of building authentic, meaningful connections. He isn’t just running a business—he’s cultivating a global community that shares his vision for a better world.

Expanding the One-for-One Initiative
Calvin is currently focused on expanding RTC Coffee’s One-for-One initiative, which provides a day of education for every bag of coffee sold. As of September 2024, RTC Coffee supported its first student in Cambodia, and Calvin is working tirelessly to scale this program. His goal is to support six students in the near future, with plans to continue growing the initiative to reach even more children in coffee-growing regions around the world.

Bringing Communities Together
Calvin’s vision for RTC Coffee extends beyond just coffee—he’s creating a movement. Through partnerships, community engagement, and in-person visits, Calvin is working to bridge the gap between producers and consumers.
